ATLANTA – State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex) recently introduced House Bill 801 to limit the number of patients assigned to a professional registered nurse in hospitals and other health care facilities. Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Announces 2020 Legislative Priorities

ATLANTA – The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC), chaired by State Representative Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain), recently announced its 2020 legislative priorities in honor of Black History Month and ahead of the GLBC’s 45th annual Heritage Dinner. Rep. Lopez Romero and Minority Leader Trammell Introduce Legislation to Provide In-State Tuition for All Georgia High School Graduates

ATLANTA – State Representative Brenda Lopez Romero (D-Norcross) and House Minority Leader Bob Trammell (D-Luthersville), along with State Representatives David Dreyer (D-Atlanta), Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn) and Beth Moore (D-Peachtree Corners), today introduced House Bill 896 to allow high schools graduates in Georgia to receive in-state tuition rates, regardless of their immigration status. Rep. Singleton Introduces Georgia Anti-Sanctuary Act

ATLANTA – State Representative Philip Singleton (R-Newnan) today introduced the Georgia Anti-Sanctuary Act, legislation which would require the state to adhere to federal immigration laws in Georgia with respect to criminal illegal aliens. Through this legislation, Rep.
