ATLANTA – During last week’s Special Session of the General Assembly, State Representative Doug Holt ( R-Social Circle) and several other house members lent some much needed helping hands to Hosea’s Feed the Hungry Effort. Majority Leader Jerry Keen appoints six State Representatives to Governor’s Medicaid Modernization Work Group

ATLANTA – State Rep. Jerry Keen, House Majority Leader ( R-St. Simons Island), has appointed six members of the House to the Governor’s Medicaid Modernization Work Group. The Medicaid Modernization for a New Georgia has been proposed by Governor Sonny Perdue, according to the Governor’s office, because the Georgia Medicaid Program needs a fundamental, systemic change. Representative Jill Chambers’ Work Results in Stronger Ethics Code for Marta Board

Atlanta- On Tuesday, Representative Jill Chambers (R-Atlanta) addressed fellow House members on the Floor with the presentations of Senate Bills 99. After the bill favorably passed the Senate, it was transferred over to the House and assigned to Chambers, who chairs the House MARTOC Committee, addressing important legislation pertaining to the MARTA system of public transportation.
