ATLANTA – During last week’s Special Session of the General Assembly, State Representative Doug Holt ( R-Social Circle) and several other house members lent some much needed helping hands to Hosea’s Feed the Hungry Effort. After a long morning of debate and voting, a group of legislators headed over to the Relief to offer not only supplies, but also several hours of volunteer work. Majority Leader Jerry Keen appoints six State Representatives to Governor’s Medicaid Modernization Work Group

ATLANTA – State Rep. Jerry Keen, House Majority Leader ( R-St. Simons Island), has appointed six members of the House to the Governor’s Medicaid Modernization Work Group. The Medicaid Modernization for a New Georgia has been proposed by Governor Sonny Perdue, according to the Governor’s office, because the Georgia Medicaid Program needs a fundamental, systemic change.
