ATLANTA – The Georgia House Democratic Caucus (GHDC) COVID-19 Response Team will host a virtual community conversation event on COVID-19 TODAY, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 5 p.m. via Facebook Live. To participate in this virtual event, please contact kimberly.romaine@house.ga.gov.
Members of the GHDC COVID-19 Response Team will be joined by Dr. Michelle Nichols, associate dean for Morehouse School of Medicine Clinical Affairs and medical director for Morehouse Healthcare.
During her tenure with Morehouse School of Medicine, Dr. Nichols has served as the director of the family medicine residency training program and vice chair of the family medicine department. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AFP) and has been recognized by the Georgia AFP with the “Educator of the Year Award.” She is also a member of the National Medical Association (NMA) and previously served as chair of the NMA’s Family Medicine Section.
