Georgia House Democratic Caucus to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Criminal Justice Reform, COVID-19 Impact

ATLANTA – The Georgia House Democratic Caucus, led by Minority Leader James Beverly (D-Macon), will host a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. To participate in this virtual town hall meeting, please contact kimberly.romaine@house.ga.gov

Minority Leader Beverly will be joined by State Representatives William Boddie (D-East Point), Josh McLaurin (D-Sandy Springs) and Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) to discuss criminal justice reform, as well as the impact COVID-19 has had on Georgians. This virtual meeting will also feature criminal justice reform experts, including Jill Travis, executive director of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and Marissa Dodson, public policy director of the Southern Center for Human Rights.
