ATLANTA – Members of the Georgia Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Caucus will hold a press conference to announce the caucus’ new leadership team and its priorities for the 2023 legislative session on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 9 a.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
The Georgia Legislative AAPI Caucus is one of the largest caucuses for AAPI legislators in the nation. The bipartisan Georgia Legislative AAPI Caucus will be comprised of members from the House and Senate and will include 11 voting members for the 2023 legislative session. The caucus seeks to increase AAPI representation at all levels of government and, in doing so, ensure that AAPI Georgians have a strong voice at the Capitol.
At the press conference, members of the caucus will be introducing its leadership team and discussing some of its key legislative priorities for the 2023 legislative session.
