House Rural Development Council to Hold Meeting at Georgia State Capitol

ATLANTA – The House Rural Development Council, co-chaired by State Representatives Gerald Greene (R–Cuthbert) and Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville), will hold its next council meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in room 341 of the Georgia State Capitol.

The House Rural Development Council was first created in 2017 to work with rural communities to find ways to encourage economic growth and job creation. During the 2023 legislative session, the council was renewed for the current term through the unanimous adoption of House Resolution 488.
