“I would like to thank the Speaker for having the confidence in me to lead this important oversight committee that helps ensure the continued growth of Georgia’s technology industry,” said Rep. Harbin. “I look forward to working with Senator Barry Loudermilk, the other committee members, and the Georgia Technology Authority in our mission to ensure taxpayer dollars are efficiently used to develop the state’s technology industry.”

The Georgia Technology Authority Oversight Committee periodically reviews the operations, contracts, financing, organization, and structure of the Georgia Technology Authority. It also reviews and evaluates the success with which the authority accomplishes its legislatively created purposes.
