ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Annexation and Cityhood, chaired by State Representative Victor Anderson (R-Cornelia), will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference Center in Canton.
Members of the study committee will receive input and testimony from the following local officials: Harry Johnston, chairman of the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners; Richard Weatherby, Cherokee County Board of Commissioners, District 2; Mitch Hamilton, director of Facility Planning and Compliance, Cherokee County School District; Holly Springs Mayor Steven Miller; and Woodstock Mayor Donnie Henriques.
