Joint Study Committee on Dual Enrollment for Highly Skilled Talent at Younger Ages to Hold Meeting in Newnan

ATLANTA – The Joint Study Committee on Dual Enrollment for Highly Skilled Talent at Younger Ages, co-chaired by State Representative Matt Dubnik (R-Gainesville) and State Senator Matt Brass (R-Newnan), will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Central Education Center in Newnan.

This joint study committee meeting will focus on manufacturing and skilled trade training across Georgia.

Created by Senate Resolution 175, this joint study committee will examine Georgia’s existing dual enrollment opportunities to develop highly skilled talent at younger ages. Members will identify potential solutions that could yield more dual enrollment for highly skilled talent at younger ages at the request of students, families, communities and employers.
