Rescheduled – Joint Study Committee on the Electrification of Transportation to Hold Final Meeting

ATLANTA – The Joint Study Committee on the Electrification of Transportation, co-chaired by State Representative Rick Jasperse (R-Jasper) and State Senator Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega), will hold its final meeting on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 1 p.m. in room 450 of the Georgia State Capitol. For several months, this joint study committee has worked to develop a comprehensive, strategic legislative plan that sets policy objectives for infrastructure, economic preparedness, transportation funding, innovation and the development of a successful electric vehicle (EV) market in the state. During this meeting, members of the study committee will consider a package of legislative recommendations for the Georgia General Assembly and a final report of the study committee’s work.
