ATLANTA — State Representative Bobby Reese (R-Sugar Hill) announced today the filing of The Georgia Employer and Worker Protection Act of 2010, House Bill 1259. This legislation is designed to protect jobs for Georgians by requiring Georgia businesses to participate in the E-Verify program as a condition for obtaining a business license or occupational tax certificate. Representative Fludd Files Legislation to Solve State Budget Problems
ATLANTA – Today State Representative Virgil Fludd (D-Tyrone) filed House Bill 1066- legislation that would generate approximately $220 million through a temporary one percent surcharge for married couples who have a total income of more than $400,000 and single individuals with an income of $200,000.
