DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation to Hold Meetings with DeKalb County Charter Review Commission & DeKalb County School Board

ATLANTA – DeKalb County House Delegation Chair Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates) and Vice Chair Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), along with members of the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation, will hold a meeting with the Honorable Steve Henson and the DeKalb County Charter Review Commission on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 12 p.m. in room 514 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta. Additionally, these legislators will meet with the DeKalb County School Board on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 12 p.m. in room 502 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.

Rep. Trey Kelley Applauds Governor’s Announcement to Create 600 Jobs in Polk County at First-of-its-Kind Solar Panel Glass Plant

ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) applauds Governor Brian Kemp’s recent announcement that SOLARCYCLE, a cutting-edge technology-based solar recycling company, will create more than 600 new full-time jobs in Polk County, investing an estimated $344 million in a solar glass manufacturing facility in Cedartown. The facility will be the first-of-its-kind in the country to use recycled materials from retired solar panels to make new solar glass.
