Rep. Kasey Carpenter Honored with ACCG 2023 Legislative Service Award

ATLANTA – State Representative Kasey Carpenter (R-Dalton) was recently honored by the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) with a 2023 Legislative Service Award. ACCG recognized Rep. Carpenter for his work on digital goods tax legislation and presented him with his award during a recent Whitfield County Commission meeting.

Rep. Carl Gilliard to Serve as Keynote Speaker at St. James AME Church in Savannah

Rep. Lydia Glaize to Participate in Leadership Program for Select Southern State Government Officials

ATLANTA – State Representative Lydia Glaize (D-Fairburn) was recently selected to participate in the 2023 Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills (CALS) program in Nashville, Tn., from October 15 – 19. Inaugurated in 2007, CALS is the annual leadership program of the Southern Office of The Council of State Governments (CSG).
