Chairman Jesse Petrea, Georgia Lawmakers, Launch Pro-Enforcement Immigration Caucus at State Capitol

ATLANTA –State Representative Jesse Petrea (R-Savannah), chairman of the House Human Relations and Aging Committee, along with other Georgia lawmakers, officially launched the Pro-Enforcement Immigration Caucus, a new group dedicated to advancing immigration enforcement efforts, supporting law enforcement agencies and promoting the rule of law across the state.

Rep. Floyd Griffin Applauds House Adoption of Senate Resolution 8, Dedicating Road to Latasha R. Butts

ATLANTA – State Representative Floyd Griffin (D-Milledgeville) recently applauded the House adoption of Senate Resolution 8, legislation that would dedicate several roads in the state. Included in SR 8, State Route 49 from the Milledgeville Bypass SR 29/US 441 to the Macon Bibb County line in Baldwin County would be named as the Latasha R. Butts Memorial Highway.
