ATLANTA – State Representative Calvin Smyre (D-Columbus), Dean of the Georgia House of Representatives, was recently honored by Governor Brian Kemp and chosen as the namesake of the Georgia Research Alliance’s (GRA) collaborative sickle cell research position.
