During a white flag memorial ceremony on Saturday, March 20, Rep. Neal presented privileged resolutions to family members of late senior residents who were members of the Frank Bailey Senior Center community.

ATLANTA – State Representatives Bee Nguyen (D-Atlanta), Sam Park (D-Lawrenceville) and Marvin Lim (D-Norcross), along with State Senators Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek) and Sheikh Rahman (D-Lawrenceville), today announced a series of bills in response to the recent shootings in the metro Atlanta region. These legislators plan to introduce correlating legislation in the House and Senate, and they issued the following statement:

ATLANTA – The Georgia House Democratic Caucus, led by House Minority Leader James Beverly (D-Macon), will hold a press conference on Senate Bill 202 and other election legislation TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, upon adjournment at the South Wing Steps of the State Capitol.
ATLANTA – State Representative Yasmin Neal (D-Jonesboro) today announced that the Senate Public Safety Committee passed House Bill 236, legislation which seeks to protect victims who have been granted a temporary protective order. On Thursday, March 18, Rep. Neal’s legislation passed in committee by a unanimous, bipartisan vote and will now head to the Senate Rules Committee for further consideration.
