In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named Rep. Rep. Lauren McDonald Sworn in, Receives Committee Assignments for the 2021-2022 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative Lauren McDonald, III (R-Cumming) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 11, 2021, which was the first day of the 2021-2022 legislative term. Rep. Matt Dubnik Named Chairman of the House Education Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently named State Representative Matt Dubnik (R-Gainesville) as the Chairman of the House Education Committee. Rep. Dubnik will also serve as Secretary of the Appropriations Committee and as a member of the Game, Fish & Parks, Higher Education, Interstate Cooperation, Juvenile Justice and Small Business Development committees. He will also serve as an Ex-Officio member of the Ways & Means Committee.

Rep. Clint Crowe Sworn in, Receives Committee Assignments for the 2021-2022 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative Clint Crowe (R-Jackson) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 11, 2021, which was the first day of the 2021-2022 legislative term. In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named Rep. Crowe to the Banks & Banking, Public Safety and Homeland Security and State Planning & Community Affairs committees.  

“I appreciate Speaker Ralston and the Committee on Assignments for selecting me to serve on these committees,” said Rep. Crowe. “I believe my professional experience and education will allow me to add to the discussion regarding matters that come before us. I am excited to get to work in these new roles to better serve the people of House District 110 and the state of Georgia.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
