ATLANTA – State Representative Vernon Jones (D-Lithonia) today announced that he will introduce the Jones Amendment when the 2020 legislative session resumes that will accompany other hate crime legislation to make it punishable by law to commit a crime based on a person’s political party affiliation or ideology. Georgia Legislators Announce Bipartisan Legislation to Repeal Citizen’s Arrest Law, to Hold Press Conference Tomorrow

Rep. Timothy Barr Announces Upcoming Road and Bridge Construction Projects in House District 103
ATLANTA – State Representative Timothy Barr (R-Lawrenceville) today announced that the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has awarded Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) funding for several construction projects in Gwinnett County to improve local roads and bridges.
