HR 21 to Re-Create Milton County
ATLANTA – On the first day of the 2009 Legislative Session, Representative Jan Jones, representing the North Fulton House Delegation, introduced House Resolution 21. This proposed amendment to the Constitution of the State of Georgia provides for the re-creation of Milton County. REP. BUTLER INTRODUCES LEGISLATION SAVING TAXPAYERS FROM STATE TAXES ON FEDERAL STIMULUS CHECKS
ATLANTA—Georgia State Representative Mark Butler (R-Carrolton) has co-sponsored legislation that would preclude the Georgia Department of Revenue from assessing state income tax on the expected 2008 federal stimulus package that is expected to pass the Congress in the near term.
