ATLANTA – State Representative Billy Mitchell (D-Stone Mountain), chairman of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, will host a ceremony in honor of Jody Watley TOMORROW, Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
Jody Watley is a singer, songwriter, producer, humanitarian, businesswoman and motivational speaker. She is known for her contributions to 21st century pop and has more than 40 years of experience in the music industry. In honor of her accomplishments and contributions throughout her career, Jody Watley recently received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is bestowed to citizens who exhibit outstanding character, work ethic and dedication to their communities.
