ATLANTA – State Representative Brian Prince (D-Augusta) was recently appointed by Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) to serve as a member on the House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee.
“I am truly honored to serve in this capacity and am humbled to be selected to be on this committee ahead of the special legislative session this November,” said Rep. Prince.
This committee is responsible for drawing the boundaries of Georgia General Assembly’s House and Senate districts, as well as the U.S. House districts, based on population data from the latest decennial U.S. Census.
