ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Brian Prince (D-Augusta) to the Defense and Veterans Affairs, Special Rules, and Transportation committees.
“I am honored to be serving on each of these committees,” said Rep. Prince. “Being a veteran, I look forward to serving on the Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee. We have many veterans in the Central Savannah River Area, and I look forward to being their advocate. Additionally, I am very familiar with many of the state’s transportation initiatives and am honored to serve on this committee with my fellow House Members.”
The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
