Rep. Bruce Williamson Elected Caucus Secretary/Treasurer

ATLANTA – The House Republican Caucus elected state Representative Bruce Williamson (R- Monroe) as the new caucus secretary/treasurer during a caucus election on Monday, May 11, 2015. As caucus secretary/treasurer Rep. Williamson will be responsible for all House Republican Caucus funds and maintaining a record of all caucus meetings.

“I am thankful to my House Republican Caucus colleagues for giving me this honor by electing me to this leadership position today,” said Rep. Williamson. “I look forward to working with the other members of the leadership team to follow republican goals and principles and focus on what is important to this caucus and to the citizens of this state.”

Representative Bruce Williamson represents the citizens of District 115, which includes portions of Walton County. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2010, and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Banks & Banking Committee. He also serves on the Governmental Affairs, Insurance, and Ways & Means committees.
