ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Chuck Efstration (R-Dacula) as the Vice Chairman of the House Appropriations Sub-Committee on Economic Development. Rep. Efstration currently serves as a member of the House Defense & Veterans Affairs, Insurance, Juvenile Justice, and Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment committees.
“I am incredibly honored to serve as Vice Chairman of this important subcommittee,” said Rep. Efstration. “I look forward to working in this position, and I would like to thank Speaker Ralston and the Committee on Assignments for the appointment.”
The House Appropriations Committee, chaired by Rep. Terry England (R-Auburn), is tasked with writing the legislation for the state’s fiscal year budget.
The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative Chuck Efstration represents the citizens of District 104, which includes portions of Gwinnett County. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2013, and currently serves as Vice Chairman on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Economic Development. He also serves on the Defense & Veterans Affairs, Juvenile Justice, Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment, and Insurance committees.
