Rep. Dexter Sharper, State Representatives to Host Influential Women of Georgia Day at State Capitol

ATLANTA – State Representatives Dexter Sharper (D-Valdosta), Mesha Mainor (R-Atlanta) and Billy Mitchell (D-Stone Mountain) will host the Influential Women of Georgia Day on TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Georgia State Capitol.

“I am honored to recognize these seven influential women who have displayed tremendous dedication to serving Georgia,” said Rep. Sharper. “They have not only given to their communities but to the world as well, and this day is a token of our gratitude for their service.”

The Influential Women of Georgia 2024 Honorees include: Kandi Burruss, co-founder of Grammy-winning group Xcape, singer, songwriter, actress, serial entrepreneur, tv personality and philanthropist; Princess Barton-Lofters, CEO of Loft 2 Ent., show creator, producer and tv personality; Jesseca Harris-Dupart, CEO of Kaleidoscope Hair Products, philanthropist and tv personality; Antwanette McLaughlin, CEO of the Spice Group, producer and brand strategist; Ebony Austin, CEO of Nouveau Bar & Grill, entrepreneur and philanthropist; Gocha Hawkins, founder of Gocha’s Breakfast Bar, serial entrepreneur, tv personality and philanthropist; Ellen Ector, fitness expert and founder of Gymnetics Fitness.

“As the State of Georgia continues to grow as the leading film, television and entertainment industry capital, it attracts hundreds of thousands of dreamers who flock to Georgia because they are inspired by what influential women like Kandi Burruss, Princess Barton-Lofters, Jesseca Judy Dupart, Ebony Austin, Gocha Hawkins, Antwanette McLaughlin and Ellen Ector have accomplished,” added Rep.
