ATLANTA – State Representative Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia) will co-sponsor a COVID-19 vaccination event on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Rockdale County Health Department in Conyers.
Rockdale County residents who receive their first shot at the event will be eligible for a $50 gift card. Participants who receive their first shot must show proof that they are a Rockdale County resident to be eligible for a gift card. Second doses of the vaccine and booster shots will also be available at the event.
Rep. Carter is co-sponsoring this event with Pam Brown, member of the Rockdale County School Board. Other co-sponsors include the following Rockdale County commissioners: Chairman Oz Nesbitt Sr., Sherri Washington, and Dr. Doreen Williams.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance via the Georgia Department of Health portal here.
