ATLANTA – State Representative Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia) will co-host the DeKalb Legislative Community Cabinet breakfast TOMORROW, Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Southwest DeKalb High School Auditorium (atrium) in Decatur.
The DeKalb Legislative Community Cabinet consists of Rep. Carter, State Representative Dewey McClain (D-Lawrenceville), former State Representatives Stan Watson, Howard Mosby and Pam Stephenson. Ms. Dee Dixon, first African-American CEO of the American Red Cross of Georgia, will serve as the guest speaker of the breakfast. Other individuals invited to participate include Tori Silas, senior director of government and regulatory affairs at Comcast Cable; Angela Brown, MedCura Health; and Tim Hardy, director of DeKalb County Code Enforcement.
Created in 1996, the DeKalb Legislative Community Cabinet seeks to connect the community with elected and appointed officials, public safety representatives and county, state and federal resources.
