ATLANTA –State Representative Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates) will participate in the Avondale Alliance for Racial Justice’s (AA-RJ) protest against police violence and voter suppression TOMORROW, Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at N. Avondale Road in Avondale Estates (downtown).
The original focus of the protest was to call on ending voter suppression in Georgia. After the recent death of Jacob S. Blake, who was fatally shot by police in Wisconsin, the AA-RJ also seeks to show residents and those who pass through Avondale Estates that Avondale Estates will not tolerate police violence against minority communities.
