Rep. Ginny Ehrhart Elected House Majority Caucus Secretary and Treasurer

ATLANTA – The House Republican Caucus today elected State Representative Ginny Ehrhart (R-Marietta) as the House Majority Caucus Secretary and Treasurer for the 2023-2024 legislative term during caucus elections on Monday, November 14, 2022.

“I am honored and excited to join the House Majority Caucus leadership team,” said Majority Caucus Secretary/Treasurer, Rep. Ehrhart. “As a small business owner, I know the organization and endless work that it takes to build something that will last many years to come. I look forward to utilizing my talents to equip caucus members with the tools and resources needed so that they can focus on serving their districts to the best of their abilities.”

In this position, Rep. Ehrhart is responsible for all Majority Caucus funds and maintaining a record of all caucus meetings. 

This will be Rep. Ehrhart’s third term in the Georgia House of Representatives and her first term as Majority Caucus Secretary and Treasurer.

Representative Ginny Ehrhart currently represents the citizens of District 36, which includes portions of Cobb County. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2018 and currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of the House Majority Caucus. She also serves as Vice Chairman of the Higher Education Committee, Secretary of the Regulated Industries Committee and on the Budget and Fiscal Oversight, Transportation, Science and Technology and Information and Audits committees.
