Rep. Heath Clark Receives Committee Assignments for the 2015-2016 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently named State Representative Heath Clark (R-Warner Robins) to the Defense & Veterans Affairs, Public Safety & Homeland Security, and Science & Technology committees.

“I am excited that Speaker Ralston has entrusted in me to serve on these great committees,” said Rep. Clark. “Defense and Veterans Affairs, specifically, will help me to better serve my district, as Houston County currently has the largest per capita population of Veterans. Serving on the Science and Technology Committee is also very important to me, and I believe that my background and relationship with Robins AFB will be a valuable resource for the committee. I am looking forward to serving on these committees, as well as Public Safety and Homeland Security, where I can focus on the issues on which I was elected to serve.”

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
