ATLANTA – State Representative Karen Lupton (D-Chamblee) will hold a press conference to raise support and advocate for increased funding for Georgia’s sexual assault centers on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta. The press conference has been CANCELLED.
Directors from several sexual assault centers will be present, as well as other advocates and survivors. In preparation for Stand With Survivors Day on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Rep. Lupton wants to draw attention to the life-saving work Georgia’s sexual assault centers provide.
