ATLANTA— State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) will participate in Operation In-Pack to aid the homeless for the upcoming holiday season. Rep. Waites will distribute back packs filled with personal items at the Peachtree-Pine Homeless Shelter on Monday, December 23, 2013.
“I am thrilled to be a part of such a generous, innovative, and necessary program,” said Rep. Waites. “The initiative and thoughtfulness of Sabrina Robertson is not only brilliant but also an encouraging sign for Georgia’s future.”
Operation In-Pack is a program designed to have a more sustained impact on the lives of the homeless.
