ATLANTA – State Representative Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta), along with Outkast Vettes Club, will host an annual back-to-school backpack giveaway on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 3 – 6 p.m. in the parking lot at 3670 Camp Creek Parkway in Atlanta.
Backpacks will be provided to students in House District 60, which includes portions of Southeast Atlanta, East Point, College Park, Hapeville and Forest Park. Children ages 13 and under must be present to receive a backpack. This event will also include food, music and community engagement. Through this event, Rep. Schofield seeks to provide help to families and students who will be returning to virtual and in-person schooling.
Outkast Vettes Club is one of the largest Corvette social clubs in Georgia, and club members’ Corvettes will be at the event.
