Rep. Mack Jackson Recognized with Trailblazer Dove Award from Georgia College and State University

ATLANTA – State Representative Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville) recently received the Trailblazer Dove Award on behalf of the African American Alumni Council (AAAC) at Georgia College and State University. This recognition is bestowed upon an alumnus for their exceptional accomplishments in fostering unity between the community and the university.

β€œIt is truly an honor to be acknowledged with such a prestigious award.” said Rep. Jackson. “This acknowledgement serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the transformative impact we can achieve when we work together toward a common purpose. I am deeply grateful to President Cathy Cox and Mrs. Debra White Minor for their unwavering support and encouragement.”

Rep. Jackson earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia College and State University in Political Science.

Representative Mack Jackson represents the citizens of District 128, which includes Glascock, Hancock, Warren and Washington counties, as well as portions of Baldwin and McDuffie counties. He was elected in 2008 and currently serves on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Economic Development and the Health, Public Safety and Homeland Security, Reapportionment and Redistricting, Rules, Small Business Development, State Planning & Community Affairs and Transportation committees.
