ATLANTA – State Representative Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville) will host a town hall meeting TODAY, Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the auditorium of the Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Sandersville.
At the meeting, Georgia Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Christopher Nunn will give a presentation on funding to support broadband expansion in the Fiscal Year 2022 budget.
“As part of the House Rural Development Council, I have been an advocate for rural broadband,” said Rep. Jackson. “Recently, Washington EMC announced broadband expansion opportunities for areas within House District 128, and I am excited about the possibility of broadband coverage for rural Georgia communities.”
