ATLANTA – The House Republican Caucus unanimously re-elected State Representative Matt Hatchett (R-Dublin) as the House Majority Caucus Chairman for the 2021-2022 legislative term during caucus elections on Monday, November 9, 2020.

“I am grateful to the House Majority Caucus for allowing me to serve again as caucus chairman; it is a distinct honor to walk alongside men and woman who always put Georgians first,” said Majority Caucus Chairman Hatchett.  “It is a pleasure to serve every member of the caucus, and more importantly, my family and constituents at home. As we get to work crafting our agenda for the upcoming session, I look forward to building an even more unified House Republican Caucus that fights for strong, conservative values for our state.”

This will be Chairman Hatchett’s sixth term in the Georgia House of Representatives and his fifth term as Majority Caucus Chairman.
