ATLANTA – State Representative Donna McLeod (D-Lawrenceville) will hold a press conference on House Bill 71 on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 9 a.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
House Bill 71 would authorize the State Board of Education to study the state’s education funding formula and the benefits of mandating pre-kindergarten and kindergarten education. Rep. McLeod introduced HB 71 during the 2021 legislative session and will continue her work on this bill this session.
