ATLANTA – State Representative Mesha Mainor (R-Atlanta) will host a “South Fulton Speaks” town hall event to give the South Fulton residents a platform to share their concerns on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. in room 341 of the Georgia State Capitol.
“As vice chairwoman of local redistricting and elections, it was critical for me to help those traditionally without a voice,” said Rep. Mainor. “The previous Fulton County Commission maps disproportionately impacted communities of color and those living in poverty. There should not be one single citizen in this state that is underserved or feels unheard. There are 1,200 residents that want to be heard, and I will help give them a voice.”
Rep. Mainor has invited the following groups to participate: State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth), State Senator Donzella James (D-Atlanta) and Dr. Ron Booth.
