Rep. Mesha Mainor to Host Ceremony to Honor Andrea Barnett

ATLANTA – State Representative Mesha Mainor (D-Atlanta) will hold a ceremony to honor Andrea Barnett on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from 12 – 2 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the State Capitol.

At the ceremony, Rep. Mainor will present a special resolution to Andrea Barnett. The special resolution highlights Barnett’s work as a minority female commercial construction contractor, as well as her efforts to help women and minority-owned construction businesses across the state. Barnett owns 360 Specialties, an Atlanta-based commercial construction subcontractor that specializes in interior finishes. She is also the executive director of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC).

Rep. Mainor will be joined by the following guest speakers: Michael Dunham, CEO of Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc.; Ernest Ellis, president of FS 360; Dr. Robert Hughes, director of operations at Restoration Storehouse; Tiffany Bussey, director of the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center; Meredith Leapley, CEO of Leapley Construction; Sarah Triplett, CEO of 360 Specialties; and Eddie Barnett, national training coordinator of the NAMC.
