Rep. Micah Gravley Named Vice Chairman of House Code Revision Committee

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville) as the Vice Chairman of the House Code Revision Committee. Rep. Gravley currently serves as a member of the House Economic Development & Tourism, Judiciary Non-Civil, and Public Safety & Homeland Security committees.

“I am humbled to have been chosen by the Speaker and the Committee on Assignments to be the Vice Chairman of the Code Revision Committee,” said Rep. Gravley. “I am honored to serve on a committee tasked with overseeing and maintaining the integrity of Georgia’s Official Code.”

The House Code Revision Committee, chaired by Rep. Gerald Green (R-Cuthbert), is tasked with technical and grammatical revisions of Georgia’s Official Code.

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative Micah Gravley represents the citizens of District 67, which includes portions of Douglas and Paulding counties. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2012, and currently serves as the Vice Chairman on the Code Revision Committee. He also serves on the Economic Development & Tourism, Public Safety & Homeland Security, and Judiciary Non-Civil committees.
