ATLANTA – State Representative Bee Nguyen (D-Atlanta), along with Democratic state legislators, will hold a press conference TODAY, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
Rep. Nguyen will address a recent Senate Education Committee meeting where students were unable to testify against House Bill 1084, legislation which would prohibit “divisive concepts” from being taught in Georgia public schools. Rep. Nguyen will be joined by Democratic members of the Senate Education Committee and the students who were unable to testify during the hearing.
