Rep. Rashad Taylor Joins Georgia Tech Panel Discussion on “Win or Waste: Atlanta at Odds over Stadium Proposal”

ATLANTA – State Representative Rashad Taylor (D-Atlanta) will participate in panel discussion on the plans, debates and implications surrounding the proposed new Atlanta Falcons stadium TONIGHT, November 5, 2012, at 6:30 PM in the Georgia Tech Architecture East Building, Reinsch-Pierce Family Auditorium, Room 123. The panel discussion is part of the 2012 Georgia Tech World Town Planning Day (WTPD), an annual event intended to expose the public to the field of planning and the impact that quality planning can have on a community.

The audience at tonight’s event will include area professionals, Atlanta-area community members, Georgia Tech students from a variety of programs (including City & Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, and Public Policy), students from the other Atlanta-area colleges and universities, and alumni of the City and Regional Planning program. Other panel speakers will include Rep. Mike Dudgeon (R-Suwanee); Reverend Anthony Motley, Pastor at Lindsey Street Baptist Church; and Dr. Benjamin Flowers, Professor, Georgia Tech, College of Architecture.
