Rep. Rhonda Burnough, State Senators to Host Women in Radio Day at State Capitol

ATLANTA – State Representative Rhonda Burnough (D-Riverdale) and Senators Michael Rhett (D-Marietta) and Josh McLaurin (D-Sandy Springs) will host Women in Radio Day TOMORROW, Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 9 a.m. at the Georgia State Capitol.

“When talking to Dee Hill, the founder of Celebrating Women in Radio, she explained that she celebrates women on the radio because it’s an acknowledgement that’s long overdue,” said Rep. Burnough. “During our planning conversations, I learned that women were not allowed to be on the Radio passed 7 p.m. in the early days.”

Rep. Burnough will be joined by Dee Hill, founder of Celebrating Women in Radio, and other female radio personalities.
