ATLANTA – State Representative Rhonda Taylor (D-Conyers) will host “A Scoop 4 You” event for first responders in House District 92 in recognition of First Responders Day on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Bruster’s Ice Cream in Conyers.
Rep. Taylor and others will sponsor “A Scoop 4 You” for all first responders to stop by during business hours on September 11 for a scoop of their favorite ice cream. First responders may appear in uniform or present their badge at this location to receive their free scoop.
In addition to this event, Rep. Taylor will publicly present resolutions in honor of First Responders Day for Conyers and Rockdale County to recognize and show appreciation for local first responders on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Old County Courthouse in Conyers. She will publicly present a resolution in honor of First Responders Day in the city of Stonecrest on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Stonecrest City Hall.
During the 2023 legislative session, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 373 to recognize September 11 as First Responders Appreciation Day in Georgia.

Taylor. “It is such a small way to say ‘thank you’ to those who protect and serve us all over the state, and I am excited to share with the community our appreciation for all that our first responders do.”
