ATLANTA – Today, Governor Brian Kemp announced that Pratt Industries, Inc., a Georgia-based recycled paper and packaging company, will build a new production facility in the Warner Robins portion of Peach County. This new facility will create more than 125 jobs and over $120 million in investment.
“I congratulate the Peach County Development Authority, the Peach County Board of Commissioners, as well as the Warner Robins mayor and city council for all of their hard work in securing this great company for the Robins Industrial Park,” said State Representative Robert Dickey (R-Musella). “Pratt’s investment will bring good jobs and economic growth to the Middle Georgia area. Pratt understands agriculture, the long hours and the fast-paced, non-stop nature of packing houses. I am personally familiar with Pratt as they are a valuable supplier of peach and produce containers for the agriculture industry, as well as many other industries in our state. Their philosophy of giving back to the community has helped a wide range of charitable causes. Pratt has a proven record around the country for investing in rising talent by offering internships during the summer months and aligning with students’ breaks from academic commitments. Thank you to Pratt Industries, Inc. for selecting Middle Georgia for their continued growth and investment in our state.”
Pratt Industries is based in Atlanta and is the fifth-largest corrugated packaging company in the United States and the largest privately owned producer of 100 percent recycled containerboard in the world.
Representative Robert Dickey represents the citizens of District 145, which includes Crawford County and portions of Bibb, Houston, Monroe and Peach counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2011 and currently serves as Chairman of the Agriculture & Consumer Affairs Committee.
