Rep. Schofield to Host White Flag Memorial Ceremony in City of East Point to Honor Citizens Lost Due to COVID-19

ATLANTA – State Representative Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta) will host a white flag memorial ceremony to honor citizens lost due to COVID-19 on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 10 a.m. at East Point City Hall.

Rep. Kim Schofield invites all residents in the City of East Point who have lost family members, friends and colleagues due to COVID-19 to come together in remembrance and prayer.

“I will never forget the victims of this deadly virus,” said Rep. Schofield. “My prayers and condolences remain with all of the families, businesses and communities in the City of East Point impacted by COVID-19. We will stretch forth our hands and hearts to honor those who lost their lives due to this virus.”
