Rep. Teri Anulewicz Honored with Legislator of the Year Award by Junior League of Atlanta

ATLANTA – State Representative Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) was recently honored as a Legislator of the Year by the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) at their “Spirit of Voluntarism” luncheon. The “Spirit of Voluntarism” luncheon honors leaders in the community who carry out JLA’s mission of advancing women’s leadership.

“I am very thankful to be honored by JLA as a Legislator of the Year,” said Rep. Anulewicz. “As a member of this organization for 20 years, I have seen the impact JLA has made on our community and state. We will remain steadfast in our commitment to uplift women’s voices and support women as they pursue leadership in their communities. I have been very proud to represent Cobb County and will continue to work with my colleagues in the General Assembly for the betterment of women and children in Georgia.”

JLA is a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. JLA recognized Rep. Anulewicz for her advocacy for women and children in the city of Atlanta and state of Georgia.

Representative Teri Anulewicz represents the citizens of District 42, which includes portions of Cobb County. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2017 and currently serves as the Secretary of the Creative Arts & Entertainment Committee. She also serves on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Human Resources and the Code Revision, Governmental Affairs, Public Health and Transportation committees.
