Rep. Teri Anulewicz Visits White House for Atlanta Braves’ 2021 World Series Championship Celebration

ATLANTA – State Representative Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) recently visited the White House to celebrate the Atlanta Braves’ 2021 World Series Championship on Monday, September 26, 2022. Rep. Anulewicz, whose district includes Truist Park, was invited to join the team during their visit.

“It was an incredible honor to celebrate our hometown team with President Biden,” said Rep. Anulewicz. “Since the Braves officially planted their roots in Cobb County, they have dedicated their time and resources towards supporting the surrounding community. This celebration is well-deserved, especially after the news of clinching a postseason spot, and I look forward to another great season for our world champions.”

As part of a long-standing tradition, President Joe Biden hosted the Atlanta Braves in the East Room to celebrate their first title since 1995. Following the visit, the Braves defeated the Washington Nationals.
