ATLANTA — State Representative Tonya Anderson (D-Lithonia) was recently elected Chair of the Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus by her colleagues in the House and Senate. Founded in 1990, the bipartisan and bicameral Georgia Legislative Women’s Caucus brings women members of the Georgia House and Senate together to work on issues that affect Georgian women and families.
“The Women’s Caucus has been graced and endowed by many great women before me,” said Rep. Anderson. “These leaders have built a strong foundation and a rich legacy, which I look forward to continuing. I will ensure that this caucus continues to serve the purpose of meeting the needs of our constituents, and I will strive to keep us well-versed and refined on the issues most important to Georgia women.”
